In an effort to clear the air for his supporters and the general public, King Paluta made clear his position and goals.

He said that his meeting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on a bus was entirely accidental and unrelated to politics.

Both praise and criticism were expressed in response to his involvement, with many people wondering why he chose to assist Dr. Bawumia's candidature.

He clarified that he accepted the vice president's offer because of Bawumia's significant national significance.

No matter what party he belongs to, Bawumia is an influential person and an elder in our nation. Is it right that I turned down his invitation?" King Paluta asked.

King Paluta refuted claims that he was paid a large sum of money for being there, saying that his appearance was required for his engagements.

He made it clear that any payment he got would be used to pay for incidentals like petrol and other event-related logistics.

"My brand and services are not provided for free, given my role as an entertainer," he stated. In addition, King Paluta asked Ghanaians to avoid associating him with any political party because of his participation in the campaign event.

In the future, he told his followers not to be shocked if they see him at events for other political parties.
