The Value Of Life

Life must be lived to its fullest and it should be escorted by hard work, commitment, determination, focus, positive mentality and above all the spirit of faith to run the good race.

Value of life

The value of life is not in its duration but in its donation.

Living a long life in years on this planet earth, without impact in your generation is as good as not coming to this world at all.

The oldest man in the Bible is Methuselah. Nothing was heard of him apart from giving birth and the 969 years of age he lived on earth. The greatest man in history who impacted the world in a space of three years with 12 unqualified men but managed to qualify them with his teachings and character died at the age of thirty-three.

He made a huge impact in one part of the world in a small remote village called Nazareth.

No wonder why one scholar wrote of Him that, "It is not the teachings of Jesus Christ that makes Him remarkable, although that one alone could have given Him distinction, it is His teachings coupled with His character; the two cannot be separated."

There is something great to learn about the wild animal called the lion. When I began to study that animal and how it lives its life to the fullest, I discovered a great mystery about the animal and I was so perplexed.

Do you know that there is an adage about the lion that says, "No matter the economy of the jungle, the lion will never eat grass"

That is the adage about the lion but here comes the mystery of this carnivorous animal. Do you know that the lion is not the strongest animal, the buffalo is much stronger. The lion is not the tallest animal, the giraffe is the tallest. The lion is not the biggest animal, the elephant is eighty per cent bigger than the lion.

The lion is not the fastest animal in the jungle, the leopard is ten times faster than the lion.

Yet the lion eats all the animals as its breakfast, lunch and supper or whatever name you will give to its eating habit. This is not a surprise at all on why they call the lion, the king of the jungle. There is one thing that separates the lion from other animals and that is the lion's attitude, its courage and its focus towards life. The lion is never distracted at all.

Life must be lived to its fullest and it should be escorted by hard work, commitment, determination, focus, positive mentality and above all the spirit of faith to run the good race.

Life is not a hundred-metre race but a marathon. In a marathon race, an athlete can start well but will end poorly. In life, you get promoted by the problems you solve not the ones you complain about. Life shouldn't be viewed as a competition but should be lived to the fullest and also being meticulous.

In conclusion, I would say that life is a personality and that person is Jesus Christ. This is because Jesus Himself made it emphatically clear in John chapter fourteen verse six that, He is the way, the truth and the LIFE.
