Due to an alleged DWI, Justin Timberlake was arrested and detained in New York.
A representative for Sag Harbour Police told CNN that Justin Timberlake was taken into custody last night in Sag Harbour, New York, on suspicion of operating a vehicle while inebriated.

According to authorities, he is still in their possession. According to a Sag Harbour Justice Court spokesman, Timberlake is scheduled to appear in court this morning. Representatives for Timberlake have been contacted by CNN for comments.
On eastern Long Island, in the Hamptons, sits the village of Sag Harbour. Before being taken into custody, Timberlake reportedly fled the nearby American Hotel, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
A statement from the police will be released later today. With his most recent album, "Everything I Thought It Was," Timberlake is presently on tour. His next gig is this Friday at the United Centre in Chicago.
Over the weekend, Timberlake wrote a tribute to his two sons and shared his plans for Father’s Day in a post on Instagram.
“My 2 greatest gifts. I learn more about myself everyday just because you both chose me to be your Daddy. I will always be there for you through your peaks and valleys… to lift you up and show you how high you can take this life and to pick you up when you fall. And, of course, to flood you with insufferable Dad-jokes all along the way. I love you both so much. Thank you for giving me my biggest purpose,” Timberlake wrote. “Now… for today: let’s play a game where we all just chill and let Dad watch the final round of The US Open.”
The 43-year-old Timberlake is wed to actress and producer Jessica Biel. The couple had Phineas, age three, and Silas, age nine, when they got married in 2012.
