Akuapem Mampong MYF marks 8 Biennial Circuit anniversary 

The Akuapem Mampong Circuit of the Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) has climaxed its 8th Biennial circuit Anniversary at Tutu, Akuapem.

The Akuapem Mampong Circuit of the Methodist Church Ghana, Youth Fellowship (MYF) has climaxed its 8th Biennial circuit Anniversary,  with a thanksgiving service at the Calvary Methodist Church, Tutu Akuapem, in the Eastern Region, Ghana.
 
The Very Reverend Kwadwo Baafi Amofa, interim circuit Minister-in-charge of the Tutu Calvary Methodist Church, urged the youth of the church to leave meaningful legacies for their individual societies by making good use of their youthful exuberant to be a good disciple for Christ.

He said God had given everyone a talent but the responsibility depends on the individual to nurture, develop and use the talent for the benefit of oneself and the society in general.

Conducting the official opening ceremony of the 8th Biennial Circuit Anniversary on the theme Discipleship: Teaching everyone to live like Jesus Christ.

Very Reverend Kwadwo Baafi Amofa who is also the Assistant Headmaster of Mamfe Methodist Girls SHS, charged the youth to be inclined to believe in themselves in the biblical direction of been a good disciple to win souls in their youthful era.

According to him, the Methodist Youth Fellowship seeks to provide a platform for the youth in the Church to have a deeper understanding of the bible through bible studies to enable them to engage in effective evangelization.

He warned them to be extra careful not to misuse their natural inclined abilities as disciples and tended to regret it later.

He urged them to avail themselves to various leadership positions as they most times criticize those in ineffective positions.

Brother Frederick Obiri Koranteng, the Mampong Circuit outgoing Chairman of the MYF, advised members to rededicate themselves for the course of the Fellowship and also endeavour to lead exemplary lives in their various societies.

The circuit and diocesan officers of the Fellowship as well as other individuals who have contributed immensely toward its growth were all present to grace the occasion.
