Police from the Manhyia Divisional Police Command in Kumasi arrested Lil Win in connection with an automobile accident on June 3 that killed a three-year-old boy.

He was then released on bail of GH¢50,000, with two sureties. The family of the three-year-old kid killed in the accident has been demanding justice, but authorities have postponed charging Lil Win owing to his poor condition.

Even though the lawsuit is still in court, the family has continued to demand for action.

According to the prosecution, all relevant documents and evidence in the case have been given to the Attorney General's Office, which is currently awaiting additional instructions on how to proceed with the case.

Nana Bonsu Kyeretwie, Lil Win's lawyer, claimed that they are waiting for the Attorney General's Office to assess the case and provide instructions before deciding their next line of action.

"The prosecution must prove its case for us to have a case to answer before we can dispel any doubt that the police have created in this situation, but for the time being, we cannot say anything. We are merely awaiting the Attorney General's advice on his mandate."

The case has been moved to July 29, 2024.

Lil Win was engaged in an automobile accident on Saturday, May 25, in Amakom, Kumasi, which killed a three-year-old child.

The collision involved a branded Mercedes-Benz that Lil Win was using to promote his current film, 'A Country Called Ghana'.
