Transport fares to go up-GPRTU Chair assures drivers                  

                 
The Bono regional Chairman of the GPRTU, Mr. Felix Ansu Gyeabour has disclosed that talks are on the way to increase transport fares again.

 Speaking on Ark in the morning show monitored by Soiree News, he revealed that, the drivers are enduring hardship in their businesses due to the rampant unannounced increase in the prices of fuel.

He noted that the drivers would have no option to park their vehicles if the fuel prices continue to up without the increment in transport fares.

The chairman, however, failed to give a date when the fares would be increased but he’s certain the fares would be increased soon.

He added that his outfit has also received numerous complaints from drivers who are charging unapproved fares.

 
He said although things are difficult for the drivers they shouldn’t take the advantage of the hardship and go contrary to the laws of the state.
