In a dramatic and unsettling development, the tranquil streets of the Gomoa East District in the heart of the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area have been shattered by violence and unrest, leading to the tragic demise of Lance Corporal Michael Danso.

Preliminary findings from law enforcement suggest that Lance Corporal Danso fell victim to a fatal gunshot allegedly fired by Benlord Ababio, amidst tensions over a disputed piece of land.

 Urging swift action from National Security Agencies to quell the menace posed by these elements, the Paramount Queenmother called for concerted efforts to bring peace back to the region.

Furthermore, the press release shed light on the arbitrary conferral of Chieftaincy titles by the destooled Omanhen, Obrifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobia II, which has only exacerbated tensions in the district.
