CREDIBLE information reaching Soireenews. com indicates that Benlord Ababio, the suspected soldier killer at Millennium City, Kasoa, in the Central Region was riding a police visibility motorbike before he shot and killed L/Cpl Danso Michael of Ghana Armed Forces.

the general public of where Benlord Ababio, the self-styled chief of Millennium City has gotten the police visibility motorbike from.
The situation which has compiled many meaning residents living in Kasoa and its adjoining community to suspect foul play in the gruesome killing of L/Cpl Danso Michael.

The deceased was shot at and killed on the spot over a land issue that the police in the area was already seized with.
New details have emerged over the circumstances leading to the shooting and the assailant involved.
Here are some new details.
Two other soldiers survived the shooting
Two other colleagues were involved in the incident. They were reportedly in the car during the gun attack but survived.
Their whereabouts remain unknown.
Shot by a sub-chief alleged to be a landguard
It has emerged  that the trio were shot at by an alleged land guard, who is also identified as a sub-chief.
The bullet struck the soldier who was in the driver's seat.
A video shared on social media showed the officer slumped in his seat with the car stuck in a ditch, ostensibly after the driver lost control.
The rear glass is shattered, and blood is oozing from the head region of the deceased.
The car is left on an abandoned stretch, with the two other officers nowhere in sight.
Police seized with the matter
The reports  stated that the officers were on their way to escalate a report they had made to the Millennium City Police at the Central East Command regarding the land issue when they were shot at by the land guard.
Kofi Asmah, the owner of 21st Century Construction Company, who sold the land in question, has accused the police at Millennium City of failing to effectively address the situation due to alleged corruption within their ranks.
The police have, meanwhile, given details on the incident including the arrest of a suspect.
A statement released on May 1, 2024, disclosed that the incident occurred on April 30, 2024, at approximately 4:20 pm, when the suspect, identified as Benlord Ababio, allegedly fired shots that critically injured the soldier.
Despite receiving prompt medical attention at the Mother and Child Hospital at Kasoa, the soldier succumbed to his injuries.
“Preliminary Police investigation has established that the suspect, Benlord Ababio, allegedly shot the soldier at Millennium City, Kasoa, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at about 4:20 pm.
“The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital at Kasoa for medical attention. However, he was later pronounced dead by the medical authorities.
“Suspect Benlord Ababio is currently in custody assisting Police investigation. The leadership of the Police Service is in touch with the leadership of the Ghana Armed Forces as the investigation into the incident continues,” the statement continued.
The police have assured the public that they will be kept informed of any developments as the investigation unfolds.
For its part, the Ghana Armed Forces, on May 1, 2024, confirmed the death of a junior officer who was shot and killed at Millennium City, Kasoa, in the Central Region.
The statement, signed by E. Aggrey-Quarshie, the Director General of Public Relations, provided further details about the land dispute that resulted in the fatal shooting.
While confirming some details reported by the media and corroborated by the police, new information was provided regarding the identity of the three soldiers involved.
The military also disclosed details about the disputed land and how the police disarmed and arrested the shooter, Benlord Ababio, at the scene of the incident.

About the Parcel of Land:
The statement indicated that the disputed land was a "half plot of land in dispute at Millennium City," which belonged to Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Omar Abdul Rahman (one of the survivors of the attack).
Identities of the Three Soldiers Involved:
Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Omar Abdul Rahman had gone to secure his land with two other colleagues; L/Cpl Danso Michael (deceased) and L/Cpl Ametus Matthew, who also survived.
Omar Stopped Developers Aligned to Suspect:
"Omar and his colleagues stopped the people from working and proceeded to the Millennium City Police Station to report the issue," the statement noted.
This contradicts reports that they were resisted by the new developers, after which they proceeded to the police station.
The Sequence of Events Leading to Shooting:
"While at the Police Station, the acclaimed owner of the land arrived with two others believed to be land guards, and confronted the soldiers, during which they started firing at the deceased soldier who was going to park a vehicle at the Police Station.
"The police disarmed and arrested the shooter after realizing L/Cpl Danso had been hit by the rounds fired," the statement added.
Body Transported to 37 Military Hospital:
The GAF added that the deceased soldier's body was retrieved from the vehicle and "has since been deposited at the 37 Military Hospital morgue."
