A mining convener who is disappointed at the rate at which people use politics to denigrate others' image has condemned an act that is currently circulating.

Trending allegation has revealed that the District Chief Executive(DCE) for Amansie West, Honourable Nii Lantey Olenu is a galamsey kingpin around his own residence.

Reacting to the said claims, the Amansie West Convener for Small Scale miners who add as an assembly member for the Moseaso electoral area, Honourable Daniel Kwaku Mensah aka DKM says the news is a hoax.

He has however dared those making such assertions to provide evidence to their claims, else shut up after bursting out with fury.

According to him, there's no truth in such as he can confidently confirm.

"Why do we have to cause danger to ourselves all because of politics. I'm not into this, but will surely stand for to defend this bogus allegation because our style of politics is very abysmal.

"Why do you have to denigrate your own neighbour all in the name of politics?" he quizzed.

"I know this, Elijah is surely behind something and I advise him to better stop that dirty game. I place a ten thousand bounty(10,000) on anyone who provides evidence to such a claim. It's a blatantly lie," he said in anger.

The convener finally advised Mr Elijah and others to desist from such dirty politics that go to the extent of dirtying someone for no cause.
