Following the assassination of a private legal practitioner, Richard Badombia, the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) expressed alarm.

Mr. Badombia was shot and died in a robbery on the Savannah Region's Bole-Bamboo Highway.

The GBA has expressed deep worry about the recent increase in armed robbery incidents and other violent crimes throughout the country.

As a result, the group has called on security agencies, among other things, to improve broad public education on crime prevention and detection to raise citizen security awareness.
