Details have emerged from the secret move being orchestrated by the self-styled chief of Bibiani of the Western North Region Nana Ngoah Anyimah Okodom II to hire some young people in Bibiani and its sorrounding environs to use the social media platforms to attack the integrity and reputation of the gazetted chief (Odikro) of Bibiani Hwenapori, Nana Ebiri Kwaku III.

The embattled Ngoah Anyimah Okodom II was reported to have hired and empowered some young men who are currently resorting to use the social media platforms to describe Nana Ebiri Kwaku III as the self-styled chief of Bibiani Hwenapori.

The current development, which has angered the principal kingmakers and accredited elders of Ankobea Royal Family in Bibiani Hwenapori who installed Nana Ebiri Kwaku II as the chief in the area to set the record straight.

Addressing a press conference in Bibiani, the visibly angered kingmakers and elders of the area issued a strong warning to the youth in Bibiani and its adjoining communities not to continue to follow Nana Ngoah Anyimah Okodom II in order to prevent themselves of landing into big trouble.

According to them, Nana Ebiri Kwaku III who is the member of the Setwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council (SATA) is only recognized, legally, customarily and traditionally installed chief of the area and that in it unfair for those rented youth of Nana Ngoah Anyimah Okodom II to describe him as a self-styled chief.

According to them, they have taken Nana Ebiri Kwaku III who is known in his private life, as Mr. Isaac Oteng Krah, through the necessary, lawful, legal and traditional processes before he has been installed in the open public in the year 2020 as the chief of Bibiani Hwenapori.

They pointed out that Nana Ebiri Kwaku lll, from the Ankobea Royal Family, succeeded his late grandfather Nana Ebiri Kwaku, who died over a decade ago.

According to them, this was after the Queen Mother (Ankobeahemaah) of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Nana Adwoa Ackaah II and Abusuapanin Kwadwo Kyemanteng presented Nana Ebiri Kwaku III to the kingmakers as the chosen candidate from the ruling gate.

They indicated that the stool had been vacant for about twenty-three years after the overthrow of Nana Kwasi Amponmaning.

However, speaking to the Soireenews.com, Nana Ebiri Kwaku lll also warned the youth in Bibiani and its sorrounding communities to stop accepting invitation from Nana Ngoah Anyimah Okodom II to carry exercises which would put their lives into the trouble in the future.

He noted that since he was installed the chief of the area, he has been performing the rituals for the stool without confrontation of anyone and questioned what capacity the youth have to describe him as the self-styled chief.

He mentioned that since he was installed, he has been working diligently in serving the people within his jurisdiction to ensure development, peace and unity.

He indicated that he has been using his offices to promote more social and infrastructural intervention development projects and programmes in the community.

He disclosed that he has started building classrooms block of Bibiani Hwenapori basic primary school to boost teaching and learning of the pupils in the area.

"Being the gazetted chief, l have been invited to chair more state functions as the guest speaker, so those who are sponsoring the youth to attack my chieftaincy status would one day land themselves in the grip of the law," the chief stressed.
