Suzy Foundation Donates Litter Bins to Some Schools in Berekum. 

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Suzy foundation based in Berekum has donated several litter bins to four selected schools in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region as part of their activities to promote sanitation and cleanliness in the various schools.

The presentation was made by Mr. Adutwum Senior, a patron of the foundation on behalf of Mama Suzy, the founder of the Suzy foundation.

In his speech asked the school authorities to take good care of the bins and make good use of the items to promote cleanliness

He said their ability to take good care of the bins will motivate the foundation to donate more to other schools as well so the beneficiary schools should take good care of the bins.

On behalf of the selected schools, the Presiding Member of Berekum Municipal Assembly is Honourable. Joseph Baffour Awuah received the dust bins and thanked Suzy Foundation for their support towards the education development within the Municipality. 

He again thanked the foundation for their kind gesture and pledged their commitment to take care of the bins and use them for their intended purpose.

Some of the beneficiary schools include Kato Presby (A) and Kato Presby (B), Kato Roman Catholic School, and Kato Christ Apostolic Church School.

The wife of the Ghana Health Minister, Mrs. Suzy Agyemang Manu founded the Suzy foundation to help extend support to society but advised that throwing and dumping of refuse in gutters are bad very behavior and call on all to desist from such attitude.
