Sege NDC Raises fund to build party office

Vice Chairmanperson for the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Honourable Shirley Ayitey has cut sod for the construction of a constituency office for Sege Constituency.

The event which came off last Sunday, March 26,2023 at Sege in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region is meant to raise fund for building the Sege Constituency Office.

The move, according to her will be in fulfilment of the pledge of the late former President, H.E. John Evans Atta Mills and immediate past former president, H.E. John Dramani Mahama. According to her, a constituency office in Sege will bring about development to the area. The former fisheries Minister noted that Sege being a hub some natural resources of which the party will aid in the development of the area when NDC comes to power. Madam Sherry Ayitey intimated the next NDC government is poised to providing a fishing harbour and a special place for smoking their fish. She urged the people of the constituency to protect the new office when built. The move, is to maximize the natural resources stock of the area. She noted that the next NDC will re-consider the reconstruction of the Songu Salt Board to factor youth and women for job creation in both crops and fisheries sectors. The Constituency Chairman for Sege, EnockTeye Sewornu said that the Constitution of the party office was his outfit's commitment to fulfilling of pledge. He said the office will help the party organize well to win the election the 2024 general election.
