Ramadan::  NPP Hajia Fati, lnvestor  Donate Food Items, Others To National Chief Imam

The leading member and a patron of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Hajia Fati Amadu popularly known as "Allegation" and her Chinese investor, Mr. Linguan have on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.

The leading member and a patron of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Hajia Fati Amadu popularly known as "Allegation" and her Chinese investor, Mr. Linguan have on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.

In the process, the two have jointly made a donation of some food items and an undisclosed amount of money to the National Chief Imam in his palace in Fadma, a suburb of Accra.

The items donated include several bags of rice, sugar, crates of eggs, and cartons of milk, among others.

The items donated by Madam Fati Amadu and her investor were part of their support for the Muslim community during this period of Ramadan. 

Addressing the gathering, Madam Fati Amadu thanked Almighty Allah for bestowing on the Leader of the Muslim Community in Ghana, His enormous blessings, long life, and grace, thereby making him an embodiment of wisdom and a source of hope in the national life of Ghana and an a beyond.

She requested the National Chief Imam, to say special prayers for the NPP as well as the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.


For his part, the Chinese investor Mr. Linguan noted that, as a corporate social responsibility of his company, he has considered giving back to society hence the donation.

According to Mr. Linguan, he together with Madam Fati Amadu donated motorbikes to the Ghana Police Service three weeks ago.

He pointed out that the two pledged to support many government institutions as well as other private institutions which contribute to the growth and development of the country.

On his part, the National Chief Imam gracefully obliged the request and said the special prayers.

through his official spokesperson, Sheik Arimiyawo expressed gratitude to Madam Fati Amadu for the donations.

"The items donated had come at the right time due to the pressure on the Office of the Chief Imam to fend for the have-nots in this period of Ramadan Fast," National Chief Iman noted.

He intimated that Madam Fati Amadu has been very consistent in supporting the Muslim Community during Ramadan and other religious occasions.
