THE VOLTA Diaspora Caucus under the leadership of the National Coordinator Hon Basil Ahiable in collaboration with the NDC Norway today the 1st of December, 2023 donated items to the flood victims in the North Tongu Constituency. 

Today's donation in North Tongu encompassed a powerful  entourage notable amongst them are the National Chairman VDC Mr Erasmus Asamoah, Mamaga Adeazordem II Founding Member VDC, Mr Prince Godson Gadabor National Secretary VDC, Hon Agbesi Nutsu Patron VDC, Mr George Abofra VDC Ashanti Regional Chair, Mr Simon Adom Boafo Fmr VDC Brong Ahafo Chair, Dr Raphael Adoboe NDC Norway Rep, Mr Robert Sedofia VDC Okaikwe North Coordinator, Mr Francis Ahashie VDC Kpone Katamanso Coordinator, Rev Michael Zaney VDC Trobu Coordinator, Madam Lucy VDC Patron Anyaa Sowutuom and a host of other VDC Constituency executives.

*The items presented were; two thousand (2,000) pieces of exercise books, twenty five (25) bags of 25kg Rice, twenty (20) boxes of Sanitary Pads, ten (10) boxes of Hand Sanitizers, sixty-five (65) gallons of liquid soaps, thirty-five (35) gallons of disinfectants (detol), two hundred (200) bags of sachet water and bales of used clothing.

The National Coordinator Hon Basil Ahiable in his address to the members at the St Kizito Camp encouraged them not to loose hope in life but to continue to work hard to support themselves in any possible way they can.

 Volta Diaspora Caucus was there to empathize with them during their time of need and he also promised the people that this is not going to be the last time Volta Diaspora Caucus will be visiting them but we would go and return with more relief items.
