Nigerian star Davido's uncle wins state governor vote
President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Senator Adeleke on his victory, saying the "people of Osun have expressed their will through the ballot".

The new governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, was chosen on his second attempt, and Nigerian Afrobeats musician Davido says he is thrilled.
On a Peoples Democratic Party ticket, Senator Adeleke won the seat (PDP).
Both his campaigns for governor in 2018 and 2022 relied heavily on Davido.
"My family means the world to me. Other than that, we are the best candidates for the position; give us one or two years, and you'll see what we mean "From his hometown of Ede in southwest Nigeria, the musician spoke with BBC Pidgin.
On Twitter, he also stated that it was time to display grace in triumph.
