A search operation is underway for 11 individuals who went missing when a fishing vessel sank off the coast of Ghana. The body of the captain, one of six Chinese nationals on board, has so far been recovered by rescuers.

The event occurred after the crew had trouble hauling up a net full of fish and the vessel capsized due to inclement weather. Some members of the crew were able to swim to a nearby ship.
