The national Democratic Congress constituency Chairman at Kasoa, Awutu Senya East Chairman, Mr.Stephen Ofosu Agyare has declared full support for the stands by former president John Dramani Mahama on the cancellation of E- Levy upon assumption of power in the 2024 general election.
According to the chairman, Ghanaians are facing hard times and the economy is also hard press therefore no proper government would pressure the people with anything called e-levy.
" The economy is too hot so if the incoming president had promised, then the entire Awutu Senya East constituency will also work hard to win the election both presidential and parliamentary", he assured.
He also pleaded with his outfit, the members of the National Democratic Congress at Kasoa to remain unified because, without unity, the party would not win the Awutu Senya East seat for both presidential and parliamentary.
He urged them to be committed to one course as a family to push the wicked elephant to the bush for Kasoa and entire Ghanaians to get their freedom.
"As a Chairman, I will work hard to retain the seat coming 2024 with the help of God", he added.
"Residents of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East are suffering but he believes soon the National Democratic Congress will come and rescue them from the hardship by the National patriotic party.
The chairman made this known in an exclusive interview with Soireenews.com Reporter Central Region during one on one Interview on his reaction to the declaration by the Former President H.E. John Dramani Mahama on the E- Levy.
