Police Chief Accused Of Meddling  In land issues at Kasoa
Land issues

The Commander of the Kasoa Police District Command in the Central Region, Chief Superintendent Charles Ampem Koosonu has been accused by the land developers of meddling in land grabbing issues at Kasoa and its environs.

According to them, land issues in the Central Region keeps resurfacing every now and then with the involvement of Police officers taking sides to obstruct justice.

They indicated that the act has seen a lot of Senior police officers being transferred to unwanted places before their time.

There is yet another case of a district commander, who organized his 'boys' to arrest an estate developer outside his jurisdiction and GH¢8000.00 taken from him.

Question is, how would a District commander in Kasoa go to Domeabra, in the Ga East to effect arrest while the Weija police command is there?

Secondly, what is the purpose of  the money and where has the said amount of money gone to?

These are boggling questions that needs to be answered by Mr Samuel Odame, District Police commander of Kasoa, who is alleged to be the ochestrator of last week manhandling of Nana Akuamoah, an estate developer and the amount of money taken from.

If these uniform men will continue to soil their reputation by taking sided in land issues especially, outside their jurisdiction, then our lives are truly in the hands of dangerous elements.
