THE Safety Advocate and President of Safety Advocacy Campaign (NASACA), Mr Daniel Asuku, has called on the owners of the companies to ensure of initiating safety interventions in their work places for the prevention of accidents at the work.
He stressed the need for Ghanaians to create work way safety to ensure zero accidents at the work places in the country.
Mr Asuku made the foregoing call when he joined the world to observe safety and wealth at work 2024.
 
This year's annual occasion was under the theme; "the impacts of climate change on occupational safety and health, let's join forces to prevent death, injury and property loss in our"work way."
In a press statement copied to Soireenews. com, the safety advocate stated that "We do this as part of moves to prevent any form of unfriendly occurrences that may result in injury, death and property damage or loss."
This way, he stressed that "we strongly press home sustainable economic development.
He appealed to managers to consider the changes in the weather in handling affairs of the worker. 
Likewise, he stressed that the employees must appreciate the efforts of the employer to help preserve life and property in achieving goals.
"In its commentary regarding this year’s event, the International Labor Organization(ILO) stressed, “the time to act is now” but NASACA says the time to act is long overdue. 
"For the safety of a people is the health and wealth of same. Don't wait till it occurs," he advised
