It was a chaotic situation - survivor

A train collision survivor called the aftermath of the accident "chaotic."

The guy said to the reporters waiting at the station in Thessaloniki: "All I can recall is experiencing a very sharp braking and then, all of a sudden, noticing sparks and flames on the windows' sides.

"followed by a swift halt. We all became terrified at this point and just wanted to leave, so we attempted to smash the window glass to do so.

"We broke some windows for some men who were nearby, and we left. We were facing a chaotic scenario."
