A group calling itself Save Our National Future and Leaders (SONFL) is strongly appealing to the Parliament of Ghana as a whole not to approve budgetary allocations for any foreign vaccine.

According to the Founder and Leader of the group, Mr. Kwadwo Atta Apeakorang said Ghana has what it takes to end the pandemic coronavirus with local herbs and food which would have no adverse effects on users.

Mr. Apeakorang opined that approving the budgetary allocations to import foreign vaccines cast a sly on the country.

His call comes at the back of the government's preparedness to procure quantities of the covid-19 vaccine into the country in an attempt to make Ghanaians safe.

But the leader and Founder of SONFL think otherwise stressing the need to empower and build the capacity of local medicine manufacturers to save the country from the pandemic with herbal medicine.

He added that empowering local manufacturers to produce medicines and foods that would have the tendency to strengthen the immune system of its consumers.

The statement is urging parliament to give the local manufacturers the needed support to save the nation from importing dangerous vaccines.

"Mr. Speaker with all due respect,  for the sake of Ghanaians, please hold on with the foreign vaccine because this is the season for us to know the efficiency of our local herbs in the fight against pandemic Coronavirus," appealed.

He said the time has come for the world to be healed through Ghanaians local herbs and foods.
