A CALL has been made to the Ghanaian eligible voters not to make a mistake to vote for flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamadu Bawumia because he has lied and promised to abolish some taxes when given the nod to be the President of this country.

According to a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Team in the Gomoa West Constituency of the Central Region, Mr Anthony Kobbina who made the forgoing call, promising to abolish some taxes when given the nod to be the President of this country is another very big lie of Dr Bawumia as usual.

The young outspoken NDC politician stated that during the normal comic relief of Dr Bawumia which the ruling NPP termed it lectures, Dr Bawumia made a statement in which he made Ghanaians believe him to abolish some taxes when given the nod to be the president of this country

Mr Kobbina asserted that Dr. Bawumia claims to have been a driver's mate from 2017 but he has been the one who have loaded all the taxes into the car which is heading towards accident

Additionally, he indicated that Dr. Bawumia promised Ghanaians to abolish the *BETTING TAX* when he assumes office in 2025 as president

According to Mr Kobbina, a lot of Ghanaians doubted this promise because of his usual lies and it is proven to be one of Dr. Bawumia's lies*

"I say so because, in less than three months after that so called lectures, the youth of Ghana who are suffering because of this wicked governance and have chosen the betting as a means of solution to their hunger and unemployment were previously not taxed when making deposits into their betting account but as we speak, a tax of *1%* has been introduced to the usual *10%* which has already annoyed a lot of Ghanaian youth," he explained.

He questioned that "If Dr. Bawumia and Nana Addo introduce this *1% deposit tax at this time, what is the guarantee that he (Dr. Bawumia) will abolish the *10% winning tax? when voted for?

He described Dr Bawumia as a pathological Lia, stressing that let us not make a mistake by voting Dr Bawumia because he has vindicated those who didn't believe this empty promise.

According to him, the flagbearer of the NDC, H E. former John Dramani Mahama has been consistently with the betting tax and he will abolish it as soon as he assumes office come January 2025 as the President of the republic

"We trust JM because of his consistency so let's keep trust him and entrust Ghana into his hands once again on 7th December, 2024," he assured
