Accra Regional Police Command roll out security measures for the Christmas season
The Police promises to do their very best to foil criminal activities during this festive season.
The Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), Mr Iddi Lansah Seidu has stated the readiness of his men to provide security during this Christmas and New year season.
He has assured the general public of adequate security before, during, and after the Christmas season regardless of any criminal acts that may arise during this Yuletide.
He stressed that, the work of the police becomes extra demanding due to the anxiety and excitement that characterise the season. As well as criminals who will want to exploit, loot and share other people's properties.
Speaking in an interview with soireenews,DCOP Iddi Seidu noted that several police officers have been deployed across the region and beyond to ensure everyone's safety.
According to the Greater Accra Regional Police boss, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare has put a freeze on leave, except on emergency cases, so that there can be adequate police force on the ground.
