Wendy Shay to quit music and focus on business?

Ghanaian musician Wendy Asiamah Addo, well known as Wendy Shay has decided to quit music and focus on doing business.

The award winning artist recently graduated with HND in Business Management following a decision to further her education during Ghana's lockdown period.

The "Heat" song hitmaker enrolled at the Concord Business College in Accra and graduated on December 18, 2021, with HND in Business and Marketing Management.

A post she made on her Facebook timeline clarified why she took the course in the school during the lockdown season.

She disclose that there were not many entertainment activities during the lockdown so she decided to acquire some knowledge.

She wrote, “During the lockdown in 2020 there were no performances for musicians so I decided to study and today I graduated with an HND in Business and Marketing Management, Music Kakra School Kakra Cheers.”  

She also posted pictures of herself in her graduation robe, together with her manager, Bullet, and some team members who supported her.

Wendy Shay is well known to be a certified nurse and was practicing during her stay with her parents in Germany before resigning to pursue music full time in Ghana.

 Some described her decision to leave a stable career abroad to follow her dreams of becoming a musician as stupid but she proved them wrong and broke more boundaries.

She can now brag of having two career options should her music life take a nosedive. Congrats to her.
