Ignore Akufo-Addo/Bawumia Deception Track Records At Oforikrom In Ashanti Region–NDC Tells Constituents

THE COMMUNICATIONS Bureau of Oforikrom Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region has broken silence by urging constituents not to be misled by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of their so-called track record and achievement in Oforikrom constituency.
Fuming with anger, the NDC stated that the ruling NPP government has failed to bring the needed social and infrastructure intervention projects and programmes to the people in Oforikrom constituency, although the people have been voting for the NPP since 1992.
At a crowded press conference which was being addressed by the Communications Officer of the NDC in Oforikrom Constituency, Mr. Jerry James Sukah, the NDC stated that the ruling NPP performance tracker is a fallacy and deceptive to Ghanaians.
The young outspoken politician described NPP Performance Tracker as fake and empty, adding that all the information that the tracker gave about the social and infrastructure projects and programmes in the Oforikrom Constituency are false.
"We would like to highlight some points that the we claim to be false. The NPP claimed for the construction of Anwomaso town roads, building of the cluster of schools in the Constituency are false.
"It is a complete lie that the NPP has distributed computers to these schools and renovated the school blocks. It was not true that the NPP government asphalted a 20km roads at the KNUST campus.
These are all false in the constituency but they have tracked in NPP documents. We are repeating that per our research,all these are false," he disclosed.
According to the party's communication officer in the area, the information is false and fallacy, adding that the “so-called” performance tracker had been exposed for its deceitfulness.
He listed some challenges that the constituency is facing which they have addressed to the Member of Parliament,MCE and all stakeholders in the constituency but have not yield any results.
He noted that the revelations of lies by the NPP led Akuffo-Addo government's performance tracker is a clear indication that the government was trying to write and present a fabricated reality to the people of Ghana, essentially, in the Oforikrom constituency.
He reiterated, "The NPP's performance tracker contains inaccurate information, for instance, the co completion of Anwomaso town roads is deceptive, and a visit to the roads recently showed that the information was fallacy."
"I believe this App will help Ghanaians more to find whatever projects the government is using our tax pecuniary for and will expose their incompetency", he bemoaned.
