US Television Show Pundits Blast McBrown over show of affection to Daughter

Actress criticized over tongue kissing daughter

Pundits on US television programme “Like it or Not” have criticized popular Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown over a viral video showing the actress French kissing and licking bits of cake from her daughter’s hand.

Pundits on the show aired on US TV station, FOX 5, condemned the actress for putting her tongue in her daughter’s mouth as shown in the viral video.

The pundits thought the movie producer went too far with her show of affection to her daughter, Maxin, on her first birthday.

‘Like it or Not’ provides commentary on controversial topics and pundits on a recent episode of the show felt that Nana Ama McBrown’s show of affection was unconventional.

In the discussion of the video, one of the pundits said there were so many ways a parent can show affection to their child that will not require inserting their tongue into the child’s mouth.

“I don’t want to see it. I don’t like it. Look, I don’t wanna judge another parent, but I will never do that to my child…this is going too far. You can show affection in a lot different ways and that for me was over the line,” the pundits is heard saying.

Another pundit said: “it’s hard to watch...I understand that she loves her daughter but I just feel it is a little too much.”

Before the discussion on the US TV station, the video of Nana Ama McBrown offering her daughter her tongue to kiss, had generated a heated debate in Ghana.

While some thought there was nothing wrong for a mother to put her tongue in her child’s mouth, others said it was repulsive.
