Honourable Agyei Clement has given an overall assessment of infrastructural development his electoral Area at Jaman South and called on the government to come to their aid.

The Assembly Member for Tekese electoral area in the Jaman South Municipal of the Bono Region, Honorable Agyei Clement has lamented the lack of social amenities in the area.

In an interview with Soireenews, he disclosed that the electoral area is one of the largest in the municipality with many communities including Tekese, Nkonkontoa, Asratoa, Ampenkro, Yaamansa and other communities; hence they lack many infrastructural facilities.

On education, the Assemblymember admitted that, though they have some school buildings in some of the communities, those classrooms are death traps whiles other pupils also are still learning under trees which poses threat to their lives.

Hon. Agyei stressed that another challenge the inhabitants in his electoral area are facing is the lack of portable water. He noted there are some farming communities in the area which don’t have access to potable water.

On education, the Assemblymember admitted that, though they have some school buildings in some of the communities yet some classrooms are death traps and others also are still leaning under trees which threatens the school children.

On roads, Hon. Agyei noted they are in a deplorable state causing lots of roads accidents with lots of lives being lost.

He is therefore appealing to the Assembly and the government to come to their aid.
