Jaman North DCE reiterates NPP Gov’t’s commitment in enhancing education in the Muslim community

The DCE of Jaman Nort says education in the era of President Nana Addo Dankwa in the Muslim communities across Ghana has increased, a solution of eradicating poverty among the Zongo residents.

The Jaman North District Chief Executive, Honourable Adane Ankoma has reiterated government’s commitment to prioritize education as a catalyst for Zongo development agenda.

He said providing education for the youth of the country, especially in deprived communities such as the Zongo, is the surest way of human resource development and poverty alleviation hence the NPP government’s commitment to investing in education for all.

He explained that the Nana Addo led NPP government in his first four years of governance have improved the education in the Muslim communities especially in the Jaman North district by posting six (6) Arabic teachers to the district to facilitate the teaching and learning of Arabic.

He added that they have also completed the construction of The Madrasatu Islamic School in Sampa which was initiated by the NDC government, the construction of KG block for Sampa Islamic school and other classroom blocks for Jamera Islamic school. He stressed that the NPP government in Jaman North district under his watch as DCE has made a lot of collaborative efforts with the Muslims to ensure that, the Muslim communities are developed.

He however seeks the protection of God for the Muslims as they journey in the Ramadan fasting and pleaded with them to maintain peace among them.

He added that the assembly donated 70 bags of rice and 70 bags of sugar to the Muslims in the district to help them in this Ramadan season.
