African rap god, Sarkodie, has put himself in the crosshairs of Netizens (citizens of the Internet) after he hinted on vying for the presidential seat sometime in the future.

The multiple award-winning rapper uploaded images of himself on his Twitter page to playfully ask his fans if he should contest for presidency come 2024.

“Presidential candidate 2024 anaa mose?” He asked.

Although a lot of his followers, albeit the ones blinded by their love for him, were quick to respond with positive answers, as they said that he'll surely make a good transition into politics; more like John Dumelo and less like Obour. They also enthused that he'll make a good president.

Some of his followers, however, were clear-headed about the situation. While they expressed their love for his music, they admitted that he's not currently fit to manage the whole affairs of a prominent country like Ghana.

They advised him to stick to his field of music where his talents lie, rather than venturing into complicated waters. Another fan pointed out that if  Sarkodie wasn't even able to manage a former signee in the person of Strongman, what gives him the impression that he can manage a whole of Ghana?

Another fan, explicitly highlighted reasons why Obidi pon Bidi should think twice about his actions.

“Please king SARK keep striving for positive change in entrepreneurship and music. Politics is not negative but sometimes tend to change the individual which tend to create extreme diversity. U always and forever be my mentor, idol, motivator, admirer, and inspiration as your lifestyle creates a positive impact in my life. More blessings on blessings King SARK keep striving for." He wrote.
