Nigerian Internet personality Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known as Bobrisky has revealed that the presence of the Coronavirus will not stop him from "Slaying" as he normally does. 

The transgender woman, who resides in Nigeria, a country with no LGBT rights, in a new post on his page has described the virus as "rubbish" for its attempts to stop him from doing what he enjoys doing the most, which is "slaying"

He shared new images of himself in new outfits in an attempt to show that the Coronavirus cannot stop his shine. He said "So because there is one rubbish virus flying around everywhere now, I won't slay my normal slaying again. Mtcheww, I slap the virus".

 

 

He is known for his presence on the social media app Snapchat.

In May 2019, Bobrisky confirmed that her pronouns are "she" and "her" after receiving several misgendered comments on her instagram profile.

Bobrisky, by virtue of just existing, introduced into the Nigerian society a set of ethics and morals which are not aligned with the assumed social normof Nigeria. She has been received with mixed feelings as she has a fair number of fans and critics alike. On a notable occasion, a Nigerian presidential aide walked out of a premises on sighting Bobrisky within the residence.

Bobrisky has a fair share of fans and has been asked by certain event planners to give speeches at their events. In 2019, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, Director General of Nigeria's National Council for Arts and Culture, called Bobrisky "a national disgrace"and said she would be "dealt with ruthlessly" if caught on the streets.
