Valencia wants a big-money move for Ferran Torres.

The 20-year old has already agreed personal terms with Manchester City and is attached to the Premier League next season yet the Los murcelagos have stalled negotiations with the Citizens over his prize value.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Valencia wants a hefty fee for the winger despite entering the final year of his current contract.

An amount of £73m is set to be raised by the Laliga team but Manchester City is not eager to spend such having already agreed to pay € 35-40 million for the player.

If no deal is agreed between the two sides, Torres would have to wait till next season to join interested clubs for free following his reluctance to sign a new contract. His current deal is understood to include a €100m (£91m) buyout clause but the Premier League club are not willing to invest such an amount.
