Resist Temptation For Violence -Anyaa Sowutuom MP Urges Muslim Youth 
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Honourable Dr. Adomako Kissi, has appealed to the youth in Zongo communities in the country to reject being used as pawns to perpetrate violence in other communities.

The MP said Zongo communities should no longer be a place where violent-minded people would come and hire people to perpetrate their agenda.
Mr Kissi made the statement when he joined Muslim Faithful in prayers and also donated an some assorted items and undisclosed amount of money to Agape Muslims in Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency ahead of Eid al-Adha Celebration which is the most important feast in the Muslim calendar.

Eid al-Adha is the most important feast in the Muslim calendar. It is a special day for the remembrance of the exemplary display of tolerance, obedience, selflessness and sacrifice exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim, who obeyed Allah’s command without hesitation to sacrifice his only beloved son, Ismail.
As a normal practice, the day would have been marked with a large congregation of Muslims gathering at the Black Star Square in Accra, as well as other parts of the country.

On his part, the Chief Immam for Agape Mosque, Mallam Saani Mohammed called on every Zongo youth to emulate the peaceful nature of the nation and issued a directive calling on Muslims to celebrate the festival with peace and eschew violence.
He used the opportunity to appeal to their MP to identify their pressing issues which needs urgent attention pointing out the poor roads infrastructure within the Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency of the Ga Central municipality.
Mallam Saani Mohammed charged Zongo youth to avoid tendencies that could endanger the peaceful atmosphere.

The Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency Nasara Coordinator, Alhaji Mustapha Usman called on parents to provide their children with the needed educational support to boost their studies and said that would also enable the children to take their studies seriously.
Alhaji Mustapha Usman made the call on his Eid al-Adha message to Muslims Faithful at Agape in the Anyaa Sowutuom Constituancy.
He charged the youth to ask for God's blessings and reminds the inspiring story of loyalty, obedience and selflessness of the Prophet Ibrahim who was ordered by Allah to obeyed the sacrifice his only son .
Alhaji Mustapha advised the youth to take advantage of the Eid al-Adha and learn to be selfless and sacrifice for the nation.
For his part, the Deputy Nasara Coordinator for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, Alhaji Abubakari Hussen explained that, at the commemoration of God's intervention, an animal was sacrificed, and divided into three parts.

"One share was given to the poor and needy, another is kept for home, and the third is given to relatives and used the occasion to call on all to sacrifice for the needy in their environment.
Alhaji Abubakari Hussen asked the Muslim faithful not to relent in their supplications to the Almighty Allah for Ghanaians to overcome its challenges and fulfill its potentials as a great nation.

He further advised Muslim students to take their lessons seriously to enable them become good leaders in Zongo Communities for the Country as Muslims are proud of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as Vice President for the Country.
