Philis Naa Koryoo To Be Retired As Delegates Root For Dina Tetteh As NDC Awutu Senya East Parliamentary Candidate

According to them, they have seen enough and heard enough to inform them that Naa Koryoo is not a viable option to ensure they unite and work hard together to win the Awutu Senya East Constituency parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.

Philis Naa Koryoo To Be Retired As Delegates Root For Dina Tetteh As NDC Awutu Senya East Parliamentary Candidate
A private legal practitioner, who doubles as the 2020 parliamentary candidate for National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, Mrs. Philis Naa Koryoo appears to be on her way out as the majority of the NDC delegates and members have vowed to vote against her in the upcoming parliamentary primaries which was scheduled to take off on Saturday May 13, 2023.
According to them, they have seen enough and heard enough to inform them that Naa Koryoo is not a viable option to ensure they unite and work hard together to win the Awutu Senya East Constituency parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.
They said the only candidate they want to lead the NDC in Awutu Senya East  Constituency is Mrs. Tetteh, whom they regard as a good woman who has done a lot for constituents even though she’s not yet an MP.
They believe that Mrs Tetteh is the best candidate who will pull massive votes for ex-President John Dramani Mahama, who is most likely to be the flagbearer of the NDC in the 2024 general election.
“This time around, votes garnered by the NDC Presidential Candidate won’t reduce as we saw in the previous election with Mrs. Philis Naa Koryoo as our parliamentary candidate. We believe in Mrs Dina Tetteh to shore up John Dramani Mahama’s votes in Awutu Senya East Constituency,” the delegates said.
"We shall win the General Election, but only if we can put our house in order. We need two things: unity and hard work to win this seat.
"We have seen enough and heard enough to inform us that Naa Koryoo is not a viable option to ensure we unite and work hard together to win the seat," the Branch Executive
of Adam Nana 2B of the NDC in the constituency Engineer Mark Nyameche noted
He mentioned that "after the 2020 elections, we all heard what Naa Koryoo said. As at now all the pink sheets are with her. The court she said she will go, we have not heard anything about it. To make things worse, she said she went away and now she is back. Where did she go? As it stands, she has nothing that will appeal to *Floating Voters."
"We need someone, a woman, who is a Grassroot person; who has served the party for a longer period of time; who has been consistent in the party working hard to appeal to floating and cross carpet voters*; and who understands the challenges we face in our branches. We need Mrs. Dina Tetteh," he stressed.
He indicated that Mrs. Tetteh can bring all the current and past aspirants together.
"She can bring all the current and past Constituency Executives together. We need a unifier like Mrs. Tetteh to bring everybody on board to win the seat," he noted.
He stressed that that is the only guarantee to win the 2024 General Election for Presidential and Parliamentary.
