According to French reports, a suspected assailant who allegedly stabbed six people on Wednesday at Paris' Gare du Nord train station has been identified as a Libyan resident in his 20s who was scheduled for deportation.

Police are still looking into the motivation, although it's not thought that terrorism is a factor.
