The Bono Regional Minister, Madam Justina Owusu Banahene has donated a complete set of water sprinkling equipment to the National Sports Authority (NSA) in Sunyani. This she believes will enhance modernization and effective daily watering of the Coronation Park.

The equipment included a 1.0 horsepower Superdam Water Pump, Water hose, Automatic Switch (Booster) and 3 Sprinklers.
Presenting the items, the minister said, “I  made a careful observation last Wednesday during a working visit to the park to ascertain progress done so far. What I saw was awkward, looking at how the pitch was being watered. So I inquired and found out from the regional director of the sports authority that, it is a result of lack of the right equipment for the job. So upon learning how terrible the situation I assured of a solution and I have fulfilled it”.
Presenting the equipment at a short ceremony yesterday, Madam Owusu Banahene underscored the need for the sports authority to have such equipment at its disposal to make organization and sports promotion in the region easy and progressive, hence the swift procurement and presentation of the items from her coffers.
