The Chief of Kwahu Nkwatia in the Eastern Region, Nana Owiredu Wadie l, has donated items to the hundreds of aged, widows and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) including other vulnerable persons in Nkwatia.

The items which made up of chickens, bags of rice, oils and  fiscal money were donated to these vulnerable persons by Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosoahene Nana Owiredu Wadie l to make them enjoy this year's festive holidays.
Presenting the items to the beneficiaries, the traditional office holder said the initiative is to foster unity and peace in the Community and Kwahu at large.

Nana Owiredu Wadie l expressed his outfit commitment and readiness to contribute to the development of the people in Kwahu Nkwatia.
He assured his continuous contribution to ensure better achievement in a the area.

Nana Owiredu Wadie used the opportunity to charge his fellow chiefs to be united and work together as one people to ensure that there is always peace in the area.
In an interview with Soireenews.com, the Nkwatia Kyedomhene, Nana Opoku Amankwah Il commended the Nkosoahene for his good works and said the donation was to support.
The top personalities who accompanied Nana Owiredu Wadie l include Nkwatia Kyedomhene, Nana Opoku Amankwah Il, Father of the Nkosoahene also Nkwatia Opinion Leader, Opanyin Kwame Wadie and many more.
President of Nkwatia Physically Challenge Association on behalf of the beneficiaries who received the items  thanked the Nkosuohene for his kind gesture.
He mentioned that the chief has previously donated wheel chairs as part of his support of seeing to their welfare.
