Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly Donates To PWDs 

The chairman for the Physically challenged for the Central Region and  Awutu senya East municipality, George Yaw Kyei on his part lauded the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Awutu Senya East constituency, Mrs. Mavis Hawa Koomson,  Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East, Madam Anita Love Obo Amissah for having them at heart and fulfilling thier  promise of not leaving them behind in thier administration .

The Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly in the Central Region has donated some items which includes sewing machines, deep freezers, wheel chairs, etc as well as seed capital for about sixty (60) Persons with disabilities (PWDs) within the municipality.
Speaking to Soireenews.com, the Senior development officer at the Department of Social Welfare, Irfan Hammond who representated the Social Welfare Director of the Municipality urged the beneficiaries to use the items for the purpose given to them stressing that those who fail to do so have the Assembly to contend with.
He advised themto vacate from the streets and come to the Assembly to register thier needs and what they can do for a living for the Assembly to see how best they can also help them.

He advised the beneficiaries to use the items for the purpose to which it was given them and not to sell them stressing that the items of  those found doing likewise will be ceased or if sold won't benefit anything from the Association again.
He called on disables on the street to desist from begging.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed sincere gratitude to the MCE, MP and the government for the donation reigning blessings on them.
