"Most Women Place Marriage Above God” – Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo
Pastor Okonkwo disclosed the value of finding personal fulfilment, noting that before a woman can be content in a marriage, she must first discover delight in her single life
Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, who is known for voicing his opinion on relationships and marriages, has revealed some women’s greatest priority.
He emphasised in a tweet that some women incorrectly prioritise marriage over all other considerations, including their relationship with God, their personal wellbeing, and the welfare of their future children.
He stressed the value of finding personal fulfilment, noting that before a woman can be content in a marriage, she must first discover delight in her single life.
Using the biblical account of Esau, Pastor Okonkwo made the point that snap decisions never work out well.
He cited Esau’s impetuous act of exchanging his birthright for a supper to show how acting out of desperation can result in bad decisions, particularly when marriage is involved.
He wrote: “Some women place marriage above God, above their own well being and even that of their unborn children.
“Anything done in desperation never births something good …ask Esau.
“Ladies one of the major steps to being happily married is being happily single.”
