Davido Responds To Producer Napji’s Accusation Of Unpaid Royalties
Davido has reacted after music producer, Napji called him out yesterday night over alleged unpaid royalties

Singer Davido has broken his silence after music producer Napji accused him of failing to pay royalties for his work.
Soireenews learnt that music producer Napji had publicly confronted Davido, accusing him of failing to pay royalties for his work.
Napji said he produced three songs off Davido’s 2020 album, ‘A Better Time,’ but was yet to receive royalties for the songs.
He promised to release more details as he seeks to collect his royalties.
On his X handle on Tuesday, April 23, 2023, Napji wrote: “I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and Sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.
“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing.”
Reacting, Davido slammed the record producer.
Quoting Napji’s tweet, he wrote: “Ur papa.”
