NDC's Chief Sofo Azoka land cruiser vehicle snatched at gun point

A V8 land cruiser belonging to Chief Sofo Azoka with registration number 5533-17 has been snatched at his residence in Gbanyamni, a suburb of Tamale yesterday night.

Chief Sofo Azoka is the current National Vice Chairman of the NDC and former Northern Regional Chairman of the same party.

Soireenews has gathered that, identified gunmen stormed the vice Chairman residence and made away with the brand new land cruiser.

At the time of report, the whereabout of the vehicle was yet to be establish.

Snatching of vehicles is becoming rampant in the Tamale Metropolis of late, about eight vehicles have been taken away by suspected criminals.

However, police in the region have been able to retrieve three of the cars back to their owners.
