Fresh tension brews in Yendi NPP Polling Station Elections

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspiring Executives for the Yendi Constituency have raised red flag against the organization of the polling station elections in the constituency.

According to them, the current constituency executives and the member of Parliament for the area are scheming plans to infiltrate their loyalists as agents at the newly created polling stations without conducting an election.

They revealed that, forms for the aforementioned polling stations were not sold to interested individuals when nominations were open.

At a Press Conference by the Aspiring constituency executives, former organizer of the constituency, Mr. Mohammed Kpermsin said persons who demanded for the forms were tasked to wait for a broader consultation, but till date nothing fruitful had come out from it.

According to him, the constituency executives have failed, and as such they are putting up strategy to rig and destabilize the peace in the constituency.

Mr. Mohammed warned with all seriousness that, they will resist any form of attempt by the constituency executives to compile a new register with following due process of the Governing Party.

He further called for the suspension of the polling station elections.
