NDC Vows To Capture Majority Electoral Seats In District Assembly Election To Regain Its Strength At The Local Level
NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (NDC) Communications team member, Mr Bright Nyawudzi Bensil, has stated that the majority of the members of the party who are currently contesting the upcoming District Assembly Level election which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday December 19, 2023 will be victorious.
Mr Bensil believes that the NDC members would win more electoral seats in district assembly  elections to regain its strength at the local level.
In this regard, he charged the enthusiastic officers of the party to prioritise the upcoming District Assembly level elections as the first step of ensuring victory for the ruling party in the 2024 general elections.

He bemoaned internal bickering, and called on the executives to close their ranks, and work assiduously to achieve this feat.
According to him, election is a process, and not an event, and therefore it was incumbent on the executives to work extra hard for the NDC to regain its strength at the local level.
“Even though we acknowledge the fact that District Assembly elections are non-partisan on paper, we in the NDC will do ourselves a great disservice if we don’t start canvassing support for aspirants who have shown faith with our party over the years. If anyone tells district assembly elections elections are non-partisan, tell the person he is lying.

However it is about time you [polling station executives] embarked on a vigorous retail campaign to help our people. Move from home to home, lorry station to lorry stations, market centres, football parks, ghettos etc.
“We need to capture all the eleven electoral seats so that our communities can have a fair share of developmental projects being executed by the Municipal Assembly," these remarks were contained in congratulations and a goodwill message to the Assembly Member aspirants who are members of the NDC
He stressed that journey to 2024 victory for the great NDC and flagbearer of the NDC, former President John Darmani Mahams  (JDM) has its examining ground with the upcoming district assembly election which is schedule to take place on the 19th December, 2023.
"I want to use this opportunity to congratulates all members who have successfully went through the picking of the nomination, gone through all the needed procedures to become candidates for the impending election. Congratulations to all the assembly member aspirants and all the unit committee members as well. We know and believe that the Almighty Lord will water the efforts you are putting in the election and we know victory is assured.
"As I said earlier, the impending election is a dress rehearsal for the 2024 general election and by this it's incumbent on us not to take the elections lightly and make sure we pull all the strings together to win overwhelming majority, if not winning all," he noted.
He stressed the need for all rank and file of the party to put behind all individual issues and aid in anyway possible for us to win and liberate Mother Ghana from the hands of the wicked and clueless NPP.
He urged the aspirants to make sure that anything that will hinder their victory, they should find a peaceful way of addressing it to bring everyone on board for the victory we crave!!!
He also plead with all relevant authorities to also play their part to enable the overwhelming victory that we want comes December 19th, 2023.
"Once again congratulations for successfully going through the preliminary stages and congratulations in advance for the impending unstoppable victory comes 19th December, 2023," he added.
