NDC National Vice Chairman Hopeful Dr Segbefia Delivers Strategic Message --To Northern and Bono Region Delegates

The National Vice Chairman Hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),, Dr. Edem Segbefia, has delivered a strategic message to NDC delegates in the Northern and Bono regions, urging them to muster the courage to vote massively for him to win the Vice National Chairmanship race in the upcoming internal executives election scheduled for December 2026.

The messages, which took the form of greetings from Dr. Edem Segbefia to all delegates across the Tamale, North East, Upper East, Savannah, Bono, and Upper West regions, were centered on his bold vision.

He expressed hope, stating, "Your strength, discipline, and loyalty have always been the backbone of our party in the north and beyond.""As we move forward, I urge you to stay firm and remain loyal to the ideals and vision of the NDC.

The work we started must not be derailed by division or distraction," Dr. Segbefia noted.According to the NDC Vice Chairman hopeful, he believes that this is the time to support the reset agenda fully. It is our collective roadmap to rebuild, reorganize, and deliver the change Ghanaians are expecting.

He stressed that the agenda will only succeed if we all embrace it at the branch, constituency, and regional levels."Let us be each other’s keepers. Look out for one another, settle differences internally with respect, and lift each other up.

A house divided against itself cannot stand."To our appointees at all levels: remember that your positions are a result of the grassroots. Go back, engage, listen, and support the base that worked to bring us here.

The party grows stronger when appointees and the grassroots move together."To the executives: you carry the mandate to lead and coordinate.

Lead with fairness, transparency, and unity."Let us allow our executives to enjoy the power and space to work without unnecessary sabotage, so they can deliver for the party and the people," Dr. Segbefia advised.

And to everyone, Dr. Segbefia stressed the need to support our appointees, adding that constructive feedback is welcome, but open undermining weakens us all. When they succeed, the party succeeds.

"Comrades, our task is clear: work for the party, work for the people. The north has always shown the way in discipline and commitment. Let’s lead again by showing unity, purpose, and action," Dr. Segbefia concluded.
