Inculcate Science and Technology into school’s syllabus-Education Minister urged

The Minister for Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovations, Dr. Kwaku Afriyie has admonished the Minister for Education to ensure that the country's education curriculum is centered on Science and Technology.

According to him, that is the way the entire world is heading now and he says inculcating it into the school's syllabus is the best way for the country.

The Minister who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sefwi Wilson was speaking to the media during the Information Ministry's Meet the Press Series held in Accra to update Ghanaians on the progress of work being done at the Ministry. 

Dr. Kwaku Afriyie noted that the whole world is turning its focus on science, technology, and Innovations and he says building the youth towards that side is the best for the country to develop.

Dr. Kwaku Afriyie added that his ministry is working tirelessly to make the country vest in Science and Technology as he believes will make the country develop to meet the rest of the world.

Dr. Kwaku Afriyie expressed worry over the hazard that is associated with E-Waste as he says, the government is putting up factories in parts of the country to help address challenges that emanate from E-Waste which is more dangerous.
