The Director-General of the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration at the University of Cape Coast, Dr Micheal Boakye Yiadom has advised Ghanaian Headteachers and Teachers to desist from using School pupil's at their personal farms and also to perform their household chores for them during and after school hours.

He told that employing School pupils at their personal farms and also to perform their household chores is not part of the School's curriculum hence the need to desist from such acts.

Dr Micheal Boakye Yiadom encouraged that school Children must be allowed to learn at their various houses after school hours instead of Headteachers and Teachers burdening them with their house works.

Speaking at the two days Leadership Training Workshop at the University of Education, Ajumako Campus, the Director-General advised Teachers to encourage their pupils to take their lessons seriously.

He also advised teachers to motivate their school pupils before counselling Headteachers and Teachers to establish a better teacher and pupils relationship to define their challenges for correction.

In an interview with Central Regional Soireenews Correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Education Director, Mrs Sabina Aba Wilson also urged all Headteachers who have benefitted from the workshop to use what they have learnt well and put it into practice.

She said, her expectation is to see that Headteachers totally change to progress the various schools.

She added that the managerial skill acquired by the Headteachers in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District would enable them to manage their schools without any difficulties.

Lastly, some of the Headteachers who were part of the exercise applauded the Education Directorate for organizing such a workshop and revealed how beneficial it has been.

They thanked the Education Directorate for the organisation.
