"I’m Alive" – Olu Jacobs Debunks Rumoured Death
Jacobs has debunked the rumour of his death in a trending video on social media, saying he is still alive and well

Popular Nigerian actor Olu Jacobs has debunked widespread reports of his death.
In a video released by his family, Jacobs, who was struggling with his speech, described the reports as lies.
In the footage, the frail-looking actor was having his hair cut by his son, who asked him, “Hello, dad, can you hear me? They said you died.”
Responding, the actor said: “I can hear, no, it’s a lie – I’m alive.”
Speaking further, the son said: “We are going to Ikoyi Club today and they will see you, all those foolish people.”
It was widely reported that Olu Jacobs passed away on Sunday but his family and the Actors Guild of Nigeria denied the reports.
The Nollywood actor had been reported dead several times in the past few years.
In August 2022, rumours went round on social media that Olu Jacobs is dead.
Reacting to the news, Silva took to her Instagram Story to debunk such reports and rumours, saying that her husband is not dead but hail and hearty.
She went further to threaten legal action against peddlers of fake news on incessant rumours of Jacobs’ death.
