THE NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Honourable Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, has indicated his commitment to continue to serve as a representative of the people in the parliament.

According to humble, God fearing hard-working MP, he believes that accounting to the electorate is a good facet of democracy.
In this regard, Honourable Nyarko continues to engage with the people to account for his stewardship since January 7, 2020.
Through a power point presentation, the people of Sekesua had the rare opportunity to see all the infrastructural projects that the MP has undertaken across the nook and crannies of the Constituency.
At the end of the the presentation, the chairman of the event, the Dademantse of Kotokoli said he was dumbfounded at seeing all these visible projects.
According to him, the MP has done better in opposition than his predecessor NPP MP whose party was in government but has nothing to show for his four year term.
"Sekesua, is forever grateful to you for the laboratory and equipment you have given to our clinic, the Gari market shed and your untiring efforts in bringing the contractor working on the Akatawia-Sekesua-Sumuer road to site." The Dademantse said.
On the Akatawia-Sekesua-Sumuer road, the MP said, assurances from the contractor is that the portion from Akatawia to Sekesua will be completed and tarred by the close of the year and a concrete pavement constructed at the lorry station. Concrete slabs will also be constructed on the hilly portions of the road at Osonson, Breponsu and Sutapong.
In his desire to empower women and reduce poverty, Comrade Bismark Tetteh Nyarko said he has successfully lobbied an NGO, BELLA AFRICA to set up a cassava processing factory in Sekesua before the end of the year.
The NDC Constituency chairman, Alhaji Moro Yakubu Hankuri urged the electorate not to be convinced with money by the NPP to vote for their candidate who would not even attend Parliament.
"We want a MP who can handle any political appointment and not someone when given the opportunity, would run away as happened to our former NPP MP.
