Hotel Manager, Boyfriend Arrested, Over Policewoman Found Dead in Hotel Room 

The Policewoman left behind a note accusing one, Mr Timothy Dampare of her death.

The Nkawkaw Divisional Police Command has arrested the Manager of Mishihi Hotel in Nkawkaw and the alleged boyfriend of a Policewoman found dead in a hotel room at Nkawkaw, the Kwahu East Municipal capital in the Eastern region of Ghana.

The deceased, police officer Lance Corporal Sarah Adjei, stationed at Quarter Masters Store of Nkawkaw Divisional Police command was found dead in a room inside Mishihi Hotel located in Nkawkaw, on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

A statement issued by the  Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, indicate that the Manager of the hotel Richard Nimoh, on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at about 7:30 pm rushed to report at Nkawkaw Central Police station that on the same day at about 12:00pm, the policewoman booked and lodged at the hotel unaccompanied.

However, she was found dead in the hotel room at about 7:00 pm.

Police investigators accompanied the complainant preceded to the scene and found the deceased dressed in a multi-coloured straight dress over black underwear with a black pair of slippers lying dead in a prone position on the floor.

The body was inspected and blood was found on the nostrils with swollen right cheek, the report said.

“Dear Mr. Timothy Dampare, I told you that I owed people money and you decided to help me and you have been with me in my house for one week now and you have refused to help me, so if anything happens you have caused it, Mr Timothy Dampare,” a handwritten note found beside the body.

The body has been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.

Last week, a Police constable identified as Sandra Asiedu was allegedly murdered in her room at Damongo by an unknown assailant.

Police however suspected her boyfriend who is on the run.
