An 18-year-old notorious thief, Bernard Nyarkoh has been arrested for robbing students at St. Andrews SHS in Assin Fosu Municipality of Central Region.

An 18-year-old notorious thief, Bernard Nyarkoh has been arrested for robbing students at St. Andrews SHS in Assin Fosu Municipality of Central Region.

He and his gang went to the school's girls’ dormitory on Monday, 2:00 dawn to steals the belongings of the students.

The thieves put a block on the security fence and used a ladder to climb the wall.

Unfortunately, an alarm blew and security personnel rushed them where Bernard Nyarkoh was nabbed but his accomplices managed to escape.

The security beat Bernard severely and later took him to the police. Knives and other weapons were retrieved from him.

The notorious armed robber told Central Soiree News correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, that they were three to enter the main campus but a security personal saw him and questioned him about his mission.

He said the security man took him to some corner and beat him hard.

According to him, they were three but two of his colleagues ran away.

Bernard the thieve added that they came to steal metals and other things for aluminum. This is the second time he and his crooks, one named Sharis.

The security man who confirmed the incident narrated that the thieves used a ladder to climb the wall. He said the gang firstly hid and smoke heavily before Nyarkoh entered. His master pointed a gun at him and arrested Nyarkoh.

He said they came to the school last four days to steal from the girls so the security men were very alert for them.
